Not Guilty Verdict! City of Kirkland v. R.B.
January 2023
Client was alleged to have driven their vehicle over the curb of a covered parking space at a local apartment complex and almost hit one of the buildings. The arresting officer alleged the individual was so drunk he could not stand and that he had to catch him as he exited the vehicle and had him lean against a post to maintain his balance. Mr. Webb argued there was insufficient evidence based upon the officer's testimony, as well as two independent witnesses' testimony, to convict for DUI. The jury agreed and returned a verdict of Not Guilty.
